Highly recommend! Carl was our photographer for our wedding at Bolton School in August 2019. In the run up to the wedding, Carl provided fantastic communication and met up with us to discuss how he would be working on the day and kinds of shots we wanted.On the day he was professional, very accommodating and most of the time he just blended in with the guests taking what we would later see were the most amazing natural pictures of people enjoying the day.Once we got the pictures we were totally blown away with how amazing they were! Amazingly professional and effortlessSimply put: Carl was amazing!From the first enquiry he was incredibly responsive, friendly and professional. We all know planning a wedding is stressful and choosing a wedding photographer is a significant decision, but Carl took the time to understand who we were as a couple, and what we wanted from our big day, and took the stress out of it. He then met with us both in advance at the venue so that we were able to discuss the types of images we wanted, helping us navigate through balancing family photos with a more relaxed feel which was important for us. Using his experience and expertise he recommended other shots which are now some of our favourite images from the day.Both Steven and I are a little nervous when having our photograph taken and on the day Carl really helped us to relax and enjoy the experience, and knowing that we had such a professional taking care us made all the difference. He interacted and managed our guests really effectively to make sure everything went without a hitch but we all had fun along the way.And the results.....well they are just beautiful! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Carl photographed our wedding on 22nd March 19! From start to finish he was absolutely fantastic. Such a talented man who managed to beautifully capture every little detail of our day along with the tears, laughter and happiness. My husband and I really enjoyed going through the gorgeous pictures and experiencing all the emotions of the day again. Wonderful photographs we can treasure for the rest of our lives and Carl did that for us so we truly can’t thank him enough. We chose Carl to photograph our wedding day on 6th April and the results are breathtaking. We don’t tire of looking through all 1500 of our photo’s with different family members and friends. The compliments from guest about the images and Carl’s professionalism on the day are endless. His passion for photography was evident from the first time we met with him. Nothing was too much trouble on the lead up and on the day, yet he made everything seem effortless (when clearly it must have been anything but). So glad we chose Carl to photograph our wedding. We never got chance to meet Carl before the wedding but from the limited details we gave him he has captured exactly what we wanted and has managed to get so many amazing pictures. Carl has to be one of the best decisions we made about our wedding. He's so organised (far more the rest of us!) and has a brilliant eye of shots, from the full family wide shots to the little detailed shots of shoes, rings and the bee that decided he'd like to pollinate my boquet! He definitely helped to add to humor on the day, with a lot of shots and family to work through but he kept everyone smiling. Not mention putting one hell of shift in, from 8am in the hairdressers til 8pm after our first dance! I'd definitely recommend him anyone else looking for a wedding photographer, he was absolutely excellent from start to finish. Many thanks once again! :)

Our wedding day was one of the best days of our lives and Carl captured all the moments we saw on the day and those that we didn't. Carl was exemplary from the first meeting until the time he departed on our big day. His knowledge and expertise meant that he was able to capture the best pictures and memories from the day without ever feeling intrusive or staged, every single picture taken was natural while retaining the spirit of joy that was present throughout the day. He was more than happy to accommodate all our wishes and knew all the best spots for capturing the beauty of our venue. His direction of all our guests (even the grumpy ones, and three young boys who loved the camera) was simply excellent as he was able to wrangle the masses into a coherent group, all with a cheeky smile. Every single person who has seen our photo's has commented on the professional and beautiful way in which he managed to capture the smallest an biggest moments with ease. "We can't thank Carl enough for our amazing wedding pictures! Carl didn't stop taking pictures all day (from around 9am until gone 9pm!) and it paid off. We felt so comfortable in front of the camera with You there was no awkward posing behind a tree or sat on the floor, just natural images which is what we wanted, every request you covered. Carl was by far the best & easiest decision we made for our wedding. I found him online and after looking through his work on his website we quickly booked to meet him and he came to meet us at our home. We knew right away we were in safe hands! He made sure he knew exactly what it was that we wanted from him and he was an absolute joy to have on the day.In the morning, whilst I was getting ready, he captured all the excitement whilst somehow keeping my niece entertained as she had decided "Mr camera" was her new best friend ! Then he kindly pointed out a bridesmaids shrug that still had the tags on we wouldn't have noticed. He was there... But not there in the most perfect balance. I felt completely at ease with him all day.Then later on he captured all the emotional moments in the ceremony that you wouldn't believe someone could with photos. Afterwards, not only did he know how to direct the masses into the right group shots but he also knows how to capture all the unspoken natural moments too (which make for great photos!) My husband and I were worried initially about our photos.... but we needn’t have been. Carl knows exactly what he's doing ! and so even in those moments where he was taking the time to direct us into for photos, we almost forgot he was there.The guests all thought he was great and have all since commented on how brilliant he/his work is & how his amazing photos captured the story of our day perfectly. I can't stop looking through them ...it allows me to relive the day!He even managed to capture everything about the speeches that made all the memories come flooding back in photographs. I mean, to capture speeches... Without words? - That's pretty amazing!We have so many wonderful photos to choose from & We definitely wouldn't hesitate to recommend Carl for anyone's wedding photography (and already have to our close friends who are getting married.) "Carl photographed my wedding in May. What can I say?! Carl was absolutely amazing at making us both (very camera shy) feel at ease. In the morning Carl came to take photos of myself and my bridesmaids whilst getting ready and actually managed to make us feel like we weren't being photographed- although there are hundreds of lovely photos of us on the morning of the wedding!
