My first ever wedding at The Wellbeing Farm in Bolton was truly unforgettable.
The Wellbeing Farm has a magical atmosphere that is hard to find elsewhere. The farm’s combination of relaxed rustic charm and quirky features, including its famous llamas and sheep, immediately set the tone for a day that would be both heartwarming and memorable.
I began the day, capturing the bridal preparations in the farm’s cozy, vibrant bridal preparation room. The pre-wedding excitement and anticipation was in the air before the groom and groomsmen arrived and the celebrations got underway.
The wedding ceremony itself was in the venue's unique rustic barn which is a perfect blend of elegance and countryside charm. The Wellbeing Farm’s attentive staff and attention to detail, creates a warm, welcoming space that is decorated with fairy lights, rustic wood, hay bales and other natural elements, provided the ideal backdrop for the couple’s vows.
Of course, The Wellbeing Farm wouldn’t be complete without its star attractions — the llamas and sheep who made an appearance after the service. Dressed in their adorable dickie bows, these animals brought a fun, light-hearted element to the day. Whether posing with guests or simply roaming around, they added a quirky touch that made for some unique photo opportunities. These moments are what make weddings at The Wellbeing Farm so distinctive, and I enjoyed the chance to capture the joy and amusement they brought to both the couple and their guests.
Now the formal part of the day had been completed, it was time for PC Roadshows to take over and get the party started. This is exactly what they did from before the wedding breakfast, even between courses, and right into the night. Dancing, singing and games followed for the remainder of the day and into the evening where 'Hit The Dancefloor' played live music sets to a bouncing wedding reception making this a truly unforgettable event for the newlywed's and their guests; and an absolute goldmine for capturing fun, laughter and moments for me.
Overall, my first wedding at The Wellbeing Farm was more than just a beautiful event — it was a celebration that brought together all the unique elements of the venue and an amazing group of people. The farm's natural beauty, rustic charm, quirky animals, crazy (in a good way) guests, and the couple's love made for a wedding day that was as personal and heartfelt as it was fun.
Here is a selection of my favourite images from the day.
