Ferrari's Hotel Wedding Photographer

What a stunning bride Chelsea made and this was an absolutely special day. Back in March I had the pleasure of returning to Ferrari's Country Hotel to photograph the wedding of Jordan and Chelsea. The day started for me arriving to capture the bride, her family and bridesmaids preparing for the big day. The wedding was to be at Ferrari's, a lovely venue in Longridge on the outskirts of Preston where I have photographed a number of weddings in the past and have really enjoyed. The gardens are beautiful and if you get lucky with the weather you can even have an outdoor ceremony in the Dove Cote surrounded by views of the Lancashire countryside.Â
This particular ceremony was taking place in one of the indoor rooms of the hotel but it almost feels like you're outside due to the floor to ceiling windows which spills in beautiful natural light. Jordans reaction upon seeing his bride appear at the top of the aisle was lovely and emotional, exactly how every bride wants their husband to be to react. A lovely service followed then it was on to family group shots. You'll have to go over to my Facebook Page for a little 'behind the scenes' shot (why not give it a Like and Follow while you're there), but it's fair to say I won't be using any patio furniture at any time in the future to stand on to get some height for the large group shot.
We spent some time taking a walk around the gardens to capture some beautiful bride and groom portraits before entering the reception room for the wedding breakfast. As day turned into evening it became clear that this fantastic group knew how to party. Following the first dance we took a few moments to capture some images outdoors under the pagoda before re-joining the party and getting on the dancefloor. Ferrari's Country House Wedding Photographer
What a fantastic location Ferrari's Country House is. Located just outside of Preston in Lancashire on the outskirts of the village of Thornley, Ferrari's is a true family run business.
I have provided wedding photography in Preston at Ferrari's country house hotel on a number of occasions; the first of which was one of my first ever weddings, that of Michael and Sarah. This was a wonderful wedding where I captured some of my favourite ever wedding photography images. Sarah and Michael were fortunate enough to have a lovely day were married in the Dove Cote which is one of the only licensed outdoor venues in the North West.
I returned to Ferrari's again more recently to shoot the wedding of Neil & Natasha, this was also special so I have very fond memories of providing wedding photography at this North West venue and hope to return again soon.
As well as the Dove Cote, which is the outdoor wedding venue, there are also two licensed rooms within the main building that you can choose from depending on the number of guests. The hotel and the grounds overlook provide a beautiful backdrop for your Lancashire Country wedding.
