Today, 20th April 2016, marks a special day for me for a couple of reasons.

Firstly, it is the 5th wedding anniversary of my close friends Paul & Gill...congratulations guys, here's to many more happy years of marriage to you both. I would like to thank you both in advance for the trust you placed in me on your wedding day.

This leads me into the other reason why today is special. Paul & Gill's wedding was my first solo wedding, the start of this journey into wedding photography, so today is C Duffy Photography's 5th birthday as a Manchester Wedding Photographer...woohoo :)

Over the past five years I have provided wedding photography in the North West to many couples, each and every one of them I can remember like yesterday. To all those couple's who have chosen C Duffy Photography to provide your Manchester wedding photography, I thank you again for allowing me to tell the story of your wedding through photography; capturing the laughter, joy, tears, those little moments that may have gone unnoticed to everyone else, those beautiful bride and groom portraits that I have since seen hanging on your wall or printed in beautiful wedding storybook albums, this is why this job is a privilege and so rewarding.

Between all those weddings, there have been many portrait photography shoots and even a couple of pet portrait sessions. Every day I try to improve the service I offer and the quality of the wedding and portrait images I take. I would not even attempt to count the number of hours I have spent researching, learning, watching, experimenting, editing and talking about these things, every second was worth it though.
