Neil & Charlotte are amazing; such a lovely couple, such a lovely family. I have had the pleasure of knowing them for some years now and have taken portraits for both of their children.

I was so pleased when they chose me to photograph their wedding. I knew it was going to be a great day and the venue they had chosen is also one of my favourites, Farington Lodge in Preston, Lancashire.

The day started with preparations at Neil and Charlotte's house, being just a few doors away from me I think it is the shortest commute I've ever had and could easily get used to :)

Neil surprised Charlotte with funny, sentimental, emotional video of their years together which had all the girls laughing and crying in equal measures. From there it was up to the venue to meet up with the fella's who were all up for a good laugh.

The day was so much fun and here are a few of my favourite images that tell the story of the day.
