Cloisters Suite Wedding Photography Blog - Dan & Kate

My first wedding of 2015 was the beautiful wedding of Dan & Kate.

It was looking in the days leading up to it that this might be a white wedding for more than one reason but the snow eluded us, instead we had to contend with the on and off rain during the latter half of the day (not complaining, it was a chance to get the umbrella's out and be a little creative).

Dan and Kate had chosen a black and white winter themed wedding day with lovely snowflakes hanging from the spectacular centre pieces and a wonderful three tier wedding cake amongst the many other decorative details.

The wedding dress was top secret with only one of the bridesmaids having seen it prior to the moment they actually saw Kate fully dressed and her father's reaction upon seeing her for the first time was absolutely priceless, he even had me welling up a little.

The day was filmed by Simon and Anne from Creative Camera and it was great to finally work alongside them after following their work for a number of years.

The Cloisters Suite is a converted church and part of the Holiday Inn in Bolton. What it lacks in outdoor space it makes up for with stunning original features.

This fabulous day was concluded with family and guests at their evening reception with magician Derek Gustard providing amazing table entertainment
