Last Drop Village Wedding Photography - Paul & Julie

What a beautiful day for a wedding it was; Saturday the 19th September

I arrived at brides home where preparations were just getting underway for the wedding of Julie and Paul. Julie was possibly one of the most relaxed brides I have come across and had already been out for her morning run to refresh herself and prepare for the big day ahead.

The beautification began while I photographed details such as the dress, shoes and jewellery along with the ongoing preparations, there was also time for a quick bacon sarnie interlude (thanks for looking after me Karen). Julie, in her stunning white chantilly lace wedding dress, and her bridesmaids in turquoise looked absolutely stunning and were ready for the service to come.

The service was beautiful and held at St Brendan's Parish Church in Harwood. Afterwards there was time for a few quick group shots in front of the church before moving on to the wedding reception venue for bride and groom portraits and a few more formals requested by the bride and groom.

Paul & Julie's wedding breakfast and reception were being held in the Penny Farthing Suite at The Last Drop Village. The Last Drop Village is one of my favourite venues to photograph weddings in Bolton, there are the lovely gardens to the front, the scenic village itself and the views over the Pennine Moors, all of which make a lovely backdrop for wedding photographs. The Penny Fathing Suite, a lovely room with panelled walls and ceiling beams, was dressed beautifully.
